Callout to HYTHE to assist HantSAR search for missing Edmund Jeske, 65. Steve (with Oscar), Jane (with Rhea) and Laurence all attended but were stood down soon after arrival when the body of the missing male was located near by. Callout to assist DorSAR and Dorset Police search for a missing 62 year old male, last seen in the BRIDPORT area. The team were able to provide a fantastic response with three dogs. Rhea, with Jane and Laurence supporting, was on their first operational search, with Oscar (with Steve and Erica) and Charlie (with Matt and Nina) assisting in other areas. The team were stood down in the early hours of the morning. UPDATE: Unfortunately, the body of Mr GUPPY was located in the river a day later by police search teams. Day two of the callout to TADLEY, assisting HantSAR. The team were stood down, before attendance, when the lady was located that morning. UPDATE: The missing lady was located safe and well. Despite the cold night she was wrapped up well and continued to walk her dog through the night, keeping herself warm and probably alive in the process!

Callout to assist DorSAR and Dorset Police search for a missing 66 year old female, suicidal despondent in the PUDDLETOWN area. Matt and Andy deployed with Search Dog Charlie, Jane and search dog Rhea, Steve with search Dog Oscar and Heather, Nina and Laurence all responded. They searched large areas of Puddletown Forest before search voluntary efforts for the night came to a close.

Callout to search for a missing 11 year old, autistic boy, in the Ringstead area. Nina, Jane, Steve, Heather and Laurence all attended. All were about to commence their search efforts when they were stood down at 20:00 hours when he was located by a member of the public safe and well. He had fallen into an 8ft hole in a garden

Standby to assist search the Blandford area for a possible male despondent. Nina, Jane, Steve and Laurence were all available to assist but by 18:06 hours that same day there was still insufficient information to start searching areas. By 19:14 hours, the missing person returned home safe and well.

The team were put on standby to assist search for a missing 54 year old, male, despondent, missing in the Wimborne area. Nina, Jane, Steve and Heather were all available to assist but the team were stood down at 12:22 hours that same day. The missing person was located safe and well walking a coastal path the next day.

The team were initially put on standby to assist with the search of a missing person but due to insufficient intelligence concerning potential search areas the team were not called out until the missing persons vehicle was located in the Ashley Wood area. Unfortunately, on this occasion, no team members were available to assist before the male was later found deceased.

Standby then callout to assist HantSAR search for a 22 year old male. he was missing since 17th May in the WATERLOOVILLE area. Steve, with Oscar, supported by Heather and Nina attended. They searched multiple areas throughout the day. On 28th June, unfortunately the missing persons body was discovered by a member of the public.

This was the second day of the search for the missing male from the Thames Valley Police area. Search activity started at 1700 hours with Steve and Oscar searching (supported by Erica) and Matt searching with Charlie. The teams searched for several hours before the missing person made contact with his family. He was safe and well, many miles away in the Weymouth area!

Callout to assist DorSAR and Dorset Police search for a missing male despondent from the Thames Valley Police area. His motor vehicle had been located abandoned in the BLOXWORTH area of Dorset. Jane and Steve responded, with Nina and Erica, that afternoon with Matt, Laurence and Heather (on her first callout) responding later that evening. The team searched large areas of private woodland with no traces of the missing person.

Matt and Charlie responded to a callout from WiltSAR to search for a missing frail man who had been tracked to somewhere in the middle of a large area in a field near SWINDON on the A420. After travelling 1 hour and 40 mins the team were stood down after the male had been located safe and well.

The continuation of the search from the 19th March. Jane and Rhea returned to the search efforts, this time supported by a member from WiltSAR. The man was located under a bush, alive but in poor health, by a member of the public just 20 minutes before Jane was due to pass through that area during a search.

Callout to assist DorSAR and Dorset Police (on the second callout of the day) search for a missing 83 year old male who was suffering from dementia and was in urgent need of medication. Steve (with Oscar), Jane (with Rhea), Nina, Laurence and Andy all responded. After all the teams search efforts, the missing person was located safe and well in Wales!

Callout to assist DorSAR and Dorset Police search for a missing 32 year old male. He had recently been injured and was suffering from depression. He left his home address in the SLADES FARM area of Bournemouth. Steve & Oscar, Jane & Rhea and Matt & Charlie searched with Laurence and Nina supporting. The teams were just running out of search areas when the male returned home safe and well. The teams stood down at 20:50 hours.

Callout to assist HantSAR and Hampshire Police search for a missing 72 year old male. He was despondent and suffering from Alzheimer / dementia type issues. He had gone missing from the HAVANT area. The team were stood down three minutes later when police were able to locate him safe and well.

Standby to assist Hampshire look for a missing person in the FORDINGBRIDGE area. Matt (with Charlie) and Jane (with Rhea) were both available to attend with Nina and Laurence supporting. This was an area that was affected by the unknown deadly toxin that had killed a fair few dogs in the area. This would have meant the team would have been limited by the areas and activity that they could do to assist. Fortunately, the gentleman was found safe and well by a member of the public.

21st February 2014 0100 hours. Matt and Charlie were called out to assist Portland Coastguard, Dorset Fire and Rescue and Dorset Police following a landslip which occurred between Bournemouth Pier and Boscombe Pier on the beach. The team attended to backup the fire services technical equipment in determining that no one had been trapped beneath the mass of sand, dirt and vegetation. Click her for BBC News article

On the teams first callout of 2014 all operational members were able to respond to search for a missing female, 33, believed to be in the Upton Country Park area of Poole. As a result of much rain, it was very wet under foot and still very windy. The dog teams, including Charlie, Rhea and Oscar covered several areas within the park. Coastguard teams assisted with the specialist coastal search requirements. Click here for news article in Bournemouth Echo
